Mother refused uk visitor to attend wedding

Post by Daizo » Sat Aug 22, 2015 7:32 am

Hi,

I am new here but am looking for help please. My mother have been refused visitor visa to attend our wedding next month. I am a bit baffled by the refusal reasons and struggling to understand them.

Here is what the exact text say:
How your application was considered: In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V:immigtation rules for visitors(https://www.gov.uk?government/collectio ... tion-rules), I have considered:
Your application, and any additonal relevant information you have provided with it
Your immigration history
an interview with you
an interview with your sponsor
[include this only where you have relied on other information to form your credibility assessment]
other information including:
-published information on political, economic and security situation in your country of residence or country of nationality(provide link where relevant)
-published statistics on immigration non-compliance by visitors applying in the same geographical region as you (provide link where relevant)
The decison
I have refused your application for a visit visa because am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraphs (s) enter paragraph number (s) of appendix V:immigration Rules for Visitor because :
-Enter refusal reasons

Future applications

This is all that has been written on the letter and nothing to suggest which requirement paragraph she did not meet and also it just says enter refusal reasons but there are not entered,

What should I do. I am considering to reapply but what can i say.

Thank you

Ask the Entry Clearance Manager to issue her visitor visa because they failed to give any grounds for refusing her.

Thanks vinny for your reply, I am in the process of reapplying now and I will be asking that in my covering letter. Do you think its ideal to just address the ECO's incompetent or lack of interest on my mum's application. I am struggling how to put it without sounding rude.

Don't reapply without knowing the grounds for refusal.

Write and ask the ECM for a reconsideration. Enclose a copy of the refusal letter. If they have no grounds for refusing, then they should issue her visa.

Hi Vinny,

Thanks for your advise, I am wandering if you know the process on writting to the ECM as it states on the letter that we do not have right to appeal or administrative review, hence the thought around reapplying.Reading also from the forum it seems appeal right has been scrapped.

Thanks

Normally, when people reapply after a refusal, they would address and refute the grounds for the refusal. Unfortunately, you don't know what grounds of refusal to address.
