Employment Status and Obtaining Citizenship

Post by lemony » Sat Sep 05, 2015 9:14 am

Hi,

My spouse gained ILR via 5 yrs of T1G visa. Now in a month or so we shall be applying for Citizenship. He is currently in a break from job but have started to look for one. Depending upon whether he shall be in an employment at the time of application, the form has to be filled accordingly.

My question is will his non-employment status at the time of application cause a problem for obtaining citizenship?

Many thanks
