Advice on Long Residence

I will be applying for 14 years long residence stay in 6 months time which will concides me being in the country for that amount of time. Can someone advice me if I apply for an SAB now will that jeopardise my chance.

No, it has no bearing whatsoever on your immigration application.
Have you had any removal notices issued against you by any chance? Well, SAB is the way to go since it would tell you things you do not know before making your application.
