Generally speaking, dependent visa appointments are silent both ways; No questions or no frills, no special advice needed from any immigration consultants with Phd degree, only IF :
- right documents are submitted (dependents partner's financial, income history, residence and accomodation documents to support )
- proof of marriage/living together
- Employer/University letter is attached
- previous UK Immigration history of the dependent is clean(if any)
Lastly, dont consider the appointment as an "interview" .
Just go with the right documents, keep your cool, keep smiling till the end and there you go. All done.
Hope this helps.
