resident labour market test

Post by mehran025 » Thu Sep 17, 2015 7:18 pm

Hi Everyone,
Could someone please help me about this matter. I have a Tier 2 visa which still is valid. I lost my job in August and the company informed the Home Office about my condition. Now, there is a position available in the company which I worked for them and it is in the same SOC. If the company wants to give me a new COS, do they need to do the market test? As at the moment I don't work for them, I think they need to carry out a new market test. I haven't received the curtailment letter yet.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, to assign a new COS, successful RLMT is required (unless your job is in shortage occupation list).
