What should be COS start & end date while paying IHC

Post by burhan1989 » Wed Sep 16, 2015 11:36 am

Hi all,

just need quick response. While paying Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) what is meant by the start and end date on your certificate of sponsorship.
Is that the contract start and end date (which should be for 3 or 5 years) or COS Assign & expiry date (which is for just 3 months).

Thanks

Work start and end dates (3 or 5 years). Many people on this forum have wrongly put rcos assign and expiry date which is 3 months and their IHS bill comes to Zero. SO dont make same mistake. TO double check your IHS bill should be 200Xno. of years of Job contract, so for 3 years it should come to 600, if it doesnt then something is wrong.
After you make ihs payment dont forget to write manually the IHS reference number on front page of Online print out of T2 Application.

Hi,

I have done same mistake. Instead of work dates(3 years) I have entered 3months dates. Could please suggest me how to updates correct dates now.
My condition is in august,2015 I have paid NHS charges for dependent visa, now I am switching to Tier 2. So by wrong dates I got 0.00 total. I assumed charges will appear after completing application. Now I have just paid visa charges.

Please let me how to updates dates for IHS and then pay NHS charges.

thanks
Vamsee
