Please comment if you have any idea around this situation.

I think u shud be a little patient. Its not even 15 working days yet and u are worried about your application. From 10th sept its not even 10 working days yet. First wait atleast 15 working days which is their standard processing time. When you apply your file goes on a queue. Its not that when you apply straightaway it will be seen by an ECO. They recieve hundreds of application everyday and each file goes to queue. When eco starts processing a case he may take decison on same day depending upon how straightforward the application is.
Unfortunately for Pakistan ukba only offers priority service for visit visa only.
So just be patient and relax.

First of all thanks for your time and opinion. For your kind information time starts ticking from the date of biometrics not the acknowledgement email.
Waowww! what you suggested is great, obviously it is common sense that every file goes into a Queue, as ECOs are not sitting and waiting for the files. A survey confirms that more than 90% students fail the exam not because they don't know the answer but they don't read the question carefully.
I know file is in queue, there are Eid holidays and that is why I tried to find out the status. The question is: is the status mentioned by the enquiry team correct for a file in queue or does it relate to a file that has not been allocated to any ECO. As file in a queue may have a status of "file in progress" because an ECO may take decision on the same day then in process status doesn't make any sense.
I did email them again and they confirmed (my doubt was right), that the status was last updated on 10/09/2015, which is the day when they acknowledged the receipt of the docs.
And also please, you should not be forgetting your posts before 21 sept when you were asking stupid questions about Phone numbers and cos dates and SMS chantes this and that. It happens to every one when you are waiting for a decision.
Last thing, visa vignette change the status isn't, a week ago your were questioning and see straight away became an advisor.
