Bride in tears

Post by bogwell » Fri Sep 25, 2015 4:00 pm

So we applied for my fiancées brother to come and visit us for our wedding day.

We supplied all documents and more, we also supplied a letter with 3 phone numbers, 1 postal address and 2 email addresses. We provided bank statements for 9 months, mortgage statements for our property, electric, water and council tax bills. All addressed directly to us.

The visa has been refused, they claim they couldn't contact us!
In our 9 year relationship, no company has failed to contact us using the 5 forms of contact we provide, how was a government department able to fail where nobody had failed before, and leave absolutely no trace! There is no record of these attempted communications, and they wont even say what phone number they tried to use?!?!?!

I might be able to, the refusal letter is in the hands of the applicant, he only received it today. If I can get him to send me a copy I can post it here.
