Family Permit for Parent

Hello again guys,

I, non eea (Nigerian) will like to apply for family permit for my mother so she can visit us towards the end of the year and perhaps travel to Germany to meet wife's family.

The issue are as follows:
1- My mother doesn't know how to use the computer let alone access the internet to complete complex UKVI/HO EEA application form. So how can I help her complete the application? Can I complete an application here on her behalf? Also I'll like to bypass TLS contact with there extortionate fees in Nigeria.

2- My mother is unemployed and fully depends on the money I send her for survival. However I do not have proof for every sum I have sent her over the years due to various reasons as you may imagine. I sometimes transfer money but mostly send cash through friends, and friends of friends etc travelling back home who then meet her to hand over cash. Will the few transfer reciept I still have be enough to prove dependency?

3- Most records of calls over the years can't be obtained, as calling cards and other sim such as Lebara, Lyca etc where mostly used

3- Also How who do I send supporting documents too?

1) It's an online application so you could probably fill it in
https://www.gov.uk/family-permit/apply

2) Follow the guidance, you can but try.

3) You may have to courier some supporting documents (eg relating to EEA national/sponsor) back to home country in order for applicant to submit.

Note a UK Family Permit will not grant a non-EEA national entry to Germany.
A Schengen visa (obtained by separate application via German embassy) would be required to visit Germany.

I don't know how switfly they process FP in Nigeria, I don't know if it will leave us enough time to apply for Schengen visa.

Hope it works out, with getting any signatures, sending the documents & all that.

I don't know about the timelines for this - there may be a thread in the forum tracking such matters.

For Schengen, it's just a case of starting with the embassy website.
