Exact date entered UK

Post by TED.ZGRED1 » Thu Oct 01, 2015 5:07 pm

Hi,

I have 2 questions

- Do I need to add the exact date the I came to the UK? I came when I was 15 and do not remember the exact date just that it was at the end of June - is there anyway I can find out if this is absolutely necessary?

- On the section where you add in information when you left the country during your stay I went to my coutry, then to another country and then back to the UK - do I need to write that I went to the other country and leave it blank or shall I not add that I travelled to another country (hope this makes some sense)

For example 01/01/2014 Germany
06/01/2014 Spain
10/01/2014 Germany Return to UK 14/01/2014

Can I leave the 'returned section blank?

Thanks in advance.

Date: month/year would do; can anyone help you remember?

It is only each period of absence that is of interest ie the overall date range of the absence; (not what you did/where else you went during the absence).

Hello,

In your example, they only care about leave and return dates highlighted in bold, therefore I will definitely fill in the return section NOT blank:

For example 01/01/2014 Germany
06/01/2014 Spain
10/01/2014 Germany Return to UK 14/01/2014

As for actual entry date to UK, you can check your plane tickets booked either on email, travel agent, your passport used to enter UK first time, Tripit apps (if applicable), any other correspondence? I cant say if approximate date would be good enough, maybe other posters can help in this regard.
