Wife joining me with child

Hi all,

I got my ILR and want to bring my wife and 1 year old son.

In the guideline it says:

Bringing your children

Your children must be under 18.

You must name your children on your application, but you’ll need to apply for them separately.

Now do they apply online separately and go to submit documents together. How does the financial requirement work for my child? Do I need to fill appendix and all other info and submit documents multiple times?

I am confused on that part. Would be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this matter and the application process.
