Moving to UK - how much to bring

Hi there,

I am moving to the UK - not sure how much to bring.

It says that there is a cap of 390 GBP - https://www.gov.uk/duty-free-goods/arri ... ide-the-eu

And duties must be paid for items that go over this amount, however - my laptop alone is more than this so does this mean I will have to pay for customs when arriving to the UK?

Any advice would be helpful.
