Thanks for your quick replies. it really helps.
sorry to trouble you with more questions.
1. she applies visa with a leave letter for one week and applies for Visa.
2. once she reaches uk, can we extend the stay for one more week. or do we need to stick with the leave plan of what we submitted while applying for visa.

1. If her employers don't mind, then she should be okay. Would they object?
2. Plans and circumstances may change.

Vinny,
now they agreed for 1 week(in hr leave letter they would mention one week), which i am submitting along with visa application.
In one months time she will be coming to UK. then Hr might agree for extension of leave by one more week.
will the hr letter which i am submitting for VISA be verified by immigration officers when she return back?
or only the Invitation Letter Matters?
invitation letter dates and hr leave letter dates has to match while submitting the application?

If she hasn't applied yet, then it's best to get her employers to agree to the full period she is off work, prior to the submission of the visa application. Then she won't stay for a longer period in the UK than her employers had specified in their letter for the visa submission.

Then she should return as agreed with her manager. Else, she may put her job at risk.

that was my initial Query.
after she reaches UK and if manager agrees for one more week leave. can she stay there for one more week?
does she needs to inform consulate on this ? as she got the Visa based on one week Leave Letter.
