Query about Tier 2 general dependent

Hi Everyone,

I am on tier 2 general visa, i started working from 24th September 2015. Now I want my wife to join me on tier 2 general dependent, this is regarding the maintenance, as i found on the gov.uk that either I Will have to show £630 for 90 days or a letter from your fully approved (‘A-rated’) sponsor saying they’ll provide one month’s funding of at least £630 for each of your dependents.

In my case as I have not completed 90 days here and not able to show the maintenance fund, will that letter from sponsor work? I read somewhere that the letter is valid only till one month from the start date of employment, is that so ? Or they my employer can issue the letter and that will work ?

If anyone has any idea about it, please help. Thanks in advance
