Tier 1 Dependent Application

Hi,

I have applied for Tier 1 dependent Visa for my wife through VFS in India. Two weeks after the submission she has been asked to attend an interview with with Embassy staff (Video Conference) from the VFS office. They have not given more details as to whether there is any documentation missing etc. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this a normal procedure?
