Tier1->IRL: questions about timing and employer letter

Hi,

sorry for disturbing you with the same old questions about the timing for ILR, but I'd like to be 200% sure. Yes, I read FAQ and many posts, but would be glad if you can confirm.

My situation: visa Tier 1 General, issues 04/01/2011.
I entered UK at 12/02/2011 for couple of weeks, then left for 51 days.
Total absence time (including these 51 days) is 85 days. Should be ok?

I can apply from 04/01/2016 - 28 days = 7/12/2015. Right?

As visa is Tier 1 General, then no need to have letters from employer about absences? Only about salary?
