calculating points on online application

Hi,
I completed the online application for tier 2 general visa, but I have a question about the section on points. I have not gone to my biometric screen appt yet, so I am wondering if I completed that section correctly, or if I should cancel the application and redo. There was a section that was regarding points, but it was very unclear to me. Also, it was not marked with an asterisk indicating that it was mandatory. I just left the section blank. I assumed that my points were calculated during the COS process. Do I need to enter then again in the online application? Thanks,
