HSMP working in Switzerland

A friend of mine has an HSMP so is able to work in the EU, however, he has been offered a chance of working in Switzerland. The company is UK based but is offering him the chance of working on a project in Switzerland. He doesn't know if he is eligable and I thought I would ask the community that is here as I am not too sure if he is allowed. Thank you for your help.

his hsmp does not allow him to work in the eu or switzerland
he will need a separate visa for switzerland
