Has anyone got any update who applied in August?
Still Waiting...really have to travel by the END of November...Experts please tell me if there is an alternative way apart from applying for ILR for kids and paying hefty fee...

I have seen approvals are coming trough for Naturalisation application which was made in the start of August and also in July...

Yay! My baby's approval letter and documents came in today. Her application timeline is as follows;

Application received by HO on 1 July.
Biometric invitation received and done on 24th Sept (almost 3 months waiting for it )
Approval dated 12th Oct (expected it in dec )

Plus, my baby's biometic picture was taken when she was crying and her mouth was wide open . I thought they would reject it but they were so understanding.

I was also surprised that the application was decided soon after biometrics but i waited for a long time for biometric invitation. But my baby also had her biometric picture taken when we applied for ILR. She was added onto my application so HO already had her biometric picture in the system which speeded things up. I guess

Congrats! It's a good news that a August application already got approval!

However, I'm really struggling to understand how their First-in-First-served policy .. What kind of checks can you on a baby born in the UK? + not much checks to do on the parents either given they already got the ILR ..

The whole process just doesn't make sense ..

got biometric letter again on 6th June 2015 for my son that his photo was not clear so have to do it again. did it on the same day.

since then waiting. I have contacted MP two months back but she has been told that i should wait for 6 months. I have really no idea about this crap service.

It's been 3.5 months already . Some of the applicants receive their registration certificate in avg 3 months time. I am expecting to receive mine anytime soon. Finger crossed;-).

The pattern seems like, people who gave biometrics in August/September have received certificates (irrespective of application submission date). People who have given biometrics in June/July are still waiting.

I have emailed nationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk 3 weeks ago, but didn't get any reply. Did anyone find it useful to email HO?
