Dependant visa from India for a UK born Child

Post by lad 14 » Thu Oct 22, 2015 10:39 am

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone can help me. I am travelling to India and planning to apply my daughter’s Tier 1 General Dependant Visa from India. My daughter was born in the UK. I would like to know how much maintenance balance I need to show. I am in the UK for more than 12 months.
As I am applying for the visa outside the UK, I am a bit confused now as what the website explains -
The amount depends on your circumstances. You must have £1,890 for each dependant if you’re applying from outside the UK or have been in the UK for less than 12 months. If you’ve been in the UK for more than 12 months, you must have £630 for each dependant
Is that mean I have to show the balance for my wife too, who is on Dependant Visa

As I’ve been in the UK for more than 12 months and I am applying for the dependant visa outside the UK, what amount I need to show ?

Will that be £1890 (Dependant) + £1890 (Wife) + £945 (Myself) = £4725 or
£630 (Dependant) + £945 (Myself) = £1575.

Thanks
