Rejected Tier 2 Visa

Post by Anysia » Sat Oct 24, 2015 9:40 pm

My application for a Tier 2 visa has been rejected and I've decided to reapply for it. Although UK border agency have returned me my passport, I did not receive the original copy of my MPharm cert. Did I not receiv my cert because it has been retained or is it because it has been misplaced?

How do I proceed with my application without the submission of an original academic certificate?

Did you not provide a copy at the time of your initial application? Sometimes they retain original docs where there has not been a copy provided...

No, I did not provide a copy the last time because they mentioned that they want an original copy of the very but did not mention anything about a photocopies version of the cert.

How do I proceed with my application is that's the case? Because a reissue of MPharm cert would need 10 working days and I wouldn't make it in time because my student visa is going to expire in 1 week time.

See also Evidential Flexibility.

Do you have a copy of your certificate? Apply with it and include a covering letter and explain that the original certificate submitted at the time of first application has not been returned by Home Office.

ALternatively, you may make an out-of-time application after receiving a duplicate degree certificate from your institution.

Also, you should write to the caseworker of the your first application that your original degree certificate has not been returned along with your passport and other documents. Let them know that they have misplaced / forgotten to return an important document of yours.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
