UKBA send me a mail challenging about Shortage Occupation
I got following mail from UKBA
Thank you for the application for leave to remain, which has been identified as invalid due to an omission with regards to the fee that has been submitted in support of your clients application. You have paid a fee of £728 based on your clients occupation being on the Shortage Occupation list but unfortunately we have checked this and your clients occupation is not covered on this list. We are therefore exceptionally allowing you a further opportunity to pay the full fee of £951.
We are therefore asking you to submit the following:
• The additional fee top up fee of £223. Please complete the pro forma attached to this e-mail.
The completed form should be sent to us by email to this email address as soon as possible
If you do not agree with our assessment can you please provide further evidence to confirm that you do in fact work in a shortage occupation. We can exceptionally accept evidence by email.
As your client does not meet the criteria for a Shortage Occupation please ensure that they still meet the criteria for their job including the Resident Labour Market Test.
