Tier 2 SOC Code Query

Hello.

I am on a Tier 2 general visa, obtained in November 2012. Renewal is due - Nov 2015. Job Title : Credit Manager, Company - An online retailer.

Initial application made in Nov 2012 was under SOC code 1131, I believe this was under the SOC 2000. According to SOC 2010, I cannot see my job title corresponding to 1131 in the new SOC table, but is under 3538.


Question:
1. If I apply under the new code (3538), does the employer need to do a RMLT
2. If it is not possible to change the SOC code with out doing a RMLT, will it cause and issue if I apply 1131.

I am having the same problem as you. My old SOC 2441 which has now changed to 2429 does not correspond to my job description. I am in the process of letting my employer know they need to use a more appropriate code.

Did you manage to solve your issue yet. If yes kindly tell.

Anybody in the house able to shed more light or has been successful in this same scenario?
