British Husband EEA Resident wife - How long for Citizenship

Post by BritishHusband » Sat Nov 14, 2015 2:22 am

HI,

I am a British citizen and my wife has a 5 year EU residence card for the UK - how long does she need to remain in the UK before she can get British citizenship?

Is it 3 years or does she need to get permanent residence first?

Kind regards,

In order to qualify for PR she will need to show that she has been exercising her Treaty rights for the 5 year period or has CSI as someone who is self-sufficient.
