Hello,
I would like to take opinion of the forum members on my case. It's a matter of urgency as I need to revert back to my sponsor.
I was employed in an Asian country where I got involved in an incident at a club. I managed to avoid any court conviction by pleading guilty and paying a compensation. This also led to cancellation of my work permit and I had to return back to my home.My records will be kept forever in that country however, the records won't be disclosed upon an enquiry. I need to know how to answer the following questions so that my UK visa application is not jeopardised.
Q1: Have you ever been deported, removed or otherwise required to leave another country? (How much should I or should I not disclose here?)
Q2: Do you have any criminal convictions in any country?
There was no trial so I suppose the answer for this question is NO.
Q3: have you ever been charged in any country with a criminal offence for which you have not yet been tried in the court (including traffic offences)?
I was charged with a criminal offence but the case didn't go to a court. Should I Answer it as YES or NO?
The govt. authority, before revoking my work pass, said that in the future I just have to check on NO whenever I have to declare my criminal history record. If I'm not wrong, it's classified as "spent record" in the UK. I also read that my work profile (engineering design) doesn't fall under enhanced security check category .
Any input on how to best answer the above questions would be much appreciated.
