Processing time for getting surrender certificate&India Visa

Processing time for getting surrender certificate&India Visa

Hi All,

Recently i got british passport and i need to travel to india on 19th Dec. Ticket already booked.
So, I need to apply for surrender certificate first, followed by apply to indian visa.

i want to know whether i have sufficient time to do both things. Hence, I would like to know how much time both surrender certificate and indian visa process take? Any recent experience?

About a year ago, it took one working week for the surrender certificate and one working week for the X-visa, for the service at VFS at Goswell Road.
