Help Marriage 'my friend Mike'!

Hi,

Mike is a friend of my family for few years. We were never together before, but 2 months ago we started living together in Liverpool, his hometown. we didnt know that we have so much chemistry and now we decided to marry. crazy, brasil girl i am love him very much.
he was my sponsor in the embasy in brazil, where i aplied for a student visa, but now things have changed adn we want to marry in january.

do you think we will have problems to marry?
what can the officials say against Mike, this family friend, now my uk fiancee?

There should be no problem. You need to get a COA before you can marry, but as long as you both fit the requirements there should be no problem. Just make sure that it is made clear in Mike's support letter that you were not in a relationship when you first came over, as you don't want them to think you lied on the student visa application form.

that is good idea, vic, thanks1 should we include mike's leter wiht coa aplication? what else is good to say in this leter?
what other evidence should we send?

i read all the coa pages at the bia website and other websites but there was nothing like what the content of Mike's letter should be like.

any ideas anyone? thanks!

i also found this:

"The Home Office has recently announced that it will now not refuse COAs from applicants who have valid leave to enter of remain at the time of the application."

is that true that eht HO wont refuse any application as long we have a valid leave?

Sorry, but I don't really know what I can telly ou to put int he COA. If you have specific questions, fine, but it is really a queston of common sense.

COA's now will always be approved (as long as they are happy the relationship is genuine), but if you don't have valid leave they can take months. You do have valid leave, so no worries.
