Visa Break for 35 days

Hi,

I am on work permit for last 4.10 years. My visa dates are

03 Feb 2003 to 30 June 2004
06 Aug 2004 to till Date

There is a gap of 35 days between two visa. Would it be a problem to get ILR? Is there any change of getting the ILR?

Where the two permits issued in the UK or abroad? If one was issued abroad and the other in the UK, did you apply for FLR(IED) before the expiration of the old one?

Both these visa were issues abroad. I was not in the country for 35 days.

I am afraid your clock was reset when the second visa was applied for whilst abroad due to the gap of 35 days. You would have been fine if it was in-country. You would have to wait until the fifth anniversary of the second issuance date
