HELP, tier 2 extension refused

Post by ericsundiu » Sat Nov 28, 2015 10:21 am

Hi all,

I just receive a refusal letter. Apparently the COS is entered wrongly during the application.
Is there anyway that i can re-apply a fresh application immediately if my employer willing to issue me a new code?
My visa is already expired (10/8/15)

I looked around and i saw i can file a administrative review and redrawn and it will give me another 28 days period, however will i still be able to apply for tier 2 extension as my visa is already expired?

Many thanks,
Eric

thanks for the information
there is another question i would like to ask.
I notice when I try to apply online, it requested me to provide maintenance fund detail.
As far as i know, as long as it is a visa extension and i am already in UK, i don't need to provide maintenance fund detail. I am comfused.
If it is a out-time application, do i need to provide maintenance fund?

As you are already in UK and extending your VISA, you need to submit no maintenance fund.

will there be a different between in time application and out time application?
i notice the maintenance request appear if i put my visa expired already
but if i put my visa not expired, the maintenance request disappear.

URGENT, is RLMT exempt for out-time T2(G) extension?

Post by ericsundiu » Wed Dec 02, 2015 7:47 pm

As title, my visa is refused last saturday and i am going to apply a new one. However my visa is already expired in middle august.
Currently not in Shortage of Occupation
Will my employer need to redo RLMT?

Sorry for the panic, just found this
You will be awarded 30 points if you have a Certificate of Sponsorship and you are continuing to work in the same occupation for the same sponsor. You must be, applying for leave to remain and you must have or have last been granted entry clearance, leave to enter or remain under one of the following: 
a Tier 2 (General) Migrant; or  a Qualifying Work Permit Holder; or  a Representative of an Overseas Newspaper, News Agency or Broadcasting Organisation; or  a Member of the Operational Ground Staff of an Overseas-owned Airline; or  a Jewish Agency Employee.
Your sponsor will be exempt from doing a resident labour market test. The occupation must fall under the same Standard Occupational Classification code as on your previous grant of leave unless the only reason for the change in SOC Code is the reclassification from SOC 2000 to SOC 2010.
I am working in the same employer and in same SOC
Is that mean i am exempt?

uCOS or rCOS? Premium service date

Post by ericsundiu » Mon Dec 07, 2015 10:59 am

Hi,

I recently being refused for my tier 2 extension. The date on refusal letter is on 24/11.
My visa already expired
I had been told i am able to apply again within 28 days grace period.
For my new application, do i need to apply via a UNRESTRICTED COS or RESTRICTED COS?
I am think of applying via premium service. But i wonder I can only get date after 22/12 (after 28days period)
Will that mean it is over 28days grace period? would it be safer if i apply via post then?
