Urgent Tier2GeneralVisa application with old companyname cos

Recently I got selected through interview conducted by company.

My company sponsor history:

My company sponsor is planning to apply for cos so that my My company sponsor can allocate that cos to me so that I can apply for visa under tier 2 general in country. But previously this company has old company name and same old company name is being there in registered list of sponsors in this month also - Two months back My company sponsor notified by posting list of documents to home office to change earlier old company name change to present company name.

This month My sponsor company talked to home office over the phone regarding the status of my sponsor company application. Home office people mentioned to my sponsor company that, that case workers are busy and my sponsor company change application is not yet assigned to case worker and also home office mentioned that to the sponsor company still can apply for cos under old company name and allocate cos to migrant so that migrant can apply for tier 2 general visa. Please note that my sponsor company has not recorded all this telephonic conversation with home office.

So sponsor company is saying to me about the same what home office mentioned to them - So my sponsor company is planning to apply for cos next week under old company name (as the name change is yet reflected in list registered sponsors) - Once sponsor company get cos (not sure how much time it takes), sponsor company will allocate cos to me so I can apply for tier 2 general visa.

Not sure once I get allocated cos under old company name, whether it can cause my tier 2 general visa to be rejected. I am bit worried about it - Could you please kindly give info on this -

And also please let me know when my sponsor get cos allocated to them if they apply for cos next week
