Can I exit UK while waiting for BRP?

Hi,

I'm in the process of changing jobs and waiting for my new BRP to arrive (expected time is within 7 to 10 rowking days). However, I still work for my old employer (until 4th January) and have a Tier 2 visa. Is it safe to make any travel arrangements for Xmas, before recieving BRP?

how would you enter on your return without the BRP?

I have a tier 2 visa still valid, sponsored by my current employer.

The BRP is the proof of your leave to remain, without it travelling outside is always risky... especially since you have switched employers. They say this on the decision letter.
