MN1 Enquiry - Please Help !

Post by UK007 » Fri Dec 18, 2015 11:33 am

Hi, as some of you already know I have recently received my ILR. Now it's time for me to register my UK born son as British. Have some confusion though, hope you guys can help.

1. Fee is £749 & after I get the certificate I've to apply for his British passport, right ?

2. To use NCS, I've to contact the council & book an appointment. Do I have to take my son [22 months old] or my wife [pending FLR(M), was PBS dependent before that] with me for the appointment ?

3. What documents do I have to take with me ? Form, Payment sheet, My passport & BRP, Son's full birth certificate...that's all, right ?

4. Do I have to take any prepaid envelop or stamps for post or Council will take care of posting ?
Thanks a million for your time.

1. RIght.
2. Yes. No, if you don't wish to.
3. Read the Guide MN1.
4. No.
