Polish Visa help

Post by dhiten » Tue Nov 27, 2007 7:45 pm

Hi i am new to this forum... i would appriciate your help with my problem
I am an Indian Citizen, have been to UK total stay for 18 months. I got along with a polish girl and we decided to get married. She is a resident of UK working legally. never claimed benifits. To get married in UK i needed to apply for Certificate of approval for which 3 months of visa valid is a must. In my case i had 2 months left. So decided to come down to India and apply for fiance Visa.
I narrated the entire situation to visa forwarding service in india was Instructed by them that i need to apply for EEA national family permit.(i verified this 10 time over the phone and also have an email confirming the same) My application was rejected on the grounds that i do not qualify and i have applied for the wrong Visa.
My would be mum in law decided to that we should have our marriage done in Poland since a polish citizen it would ease things up. An invitation (zaprozenia) was arranged and i applied for a Visa to poland to get married. Even that was rejected. I dont know the reason why.... All the marriage preperations are done.... friends and relatives know about the marriage etc ...

I need help as to what should i do and how should i proceed... the situation with both the families is very depressing... can anyone guide me as to what should i do.

You could try for a 'fiancee' visa for the UK again.
I dont know how VFS adviced you to apply for EEA family permit when you were clearly not married.Chalk it down to one more instance of foolishness from an incompetent organization whose existence is clearly unnecessary.
On the other hand you could have her come to India and get married there and apply for a EEA family permit from the British Embassy.
