NOC/Parent support letter for Spouse Visa

Hi guys, currently I am trying to apply for spouse visa for my wife and wanted to asked few question regarding accommodation requirements. Currently I live in house (3 bed room + lounge room) mortgaged (under me, my dad, brother and sister) and atm the house is occupied by me, my dad, mom, and 2 brother as my sister is married and she livers on her own flat with her husband. Now the questions I have is do I need to get support letter from my dad, brother and sister for confirming that they are happy to let my wife stay with me in the house. Secondly, as my sister no longer lives in the house, do I also need to show her current living address to prove that she is not living with us? P.s. I know that 3 room = 5 person is allowed and does the lounge room make it 4 rooms or not? Thanks for any kind advice, and I would really appreciate it. Thanks again.

You need a support letter + a copy of the mortgage agreement. 3 bedrooms + living room = 4 rooms. Be aware that the Electoral Role ( a legal requirement) will disclose who is currently registered as living at the property.

Hi Casa, as i didnt want to open new thread for this question, atm my wife has IELTS (Academic, done 5 months ago) and has achieved the minimum mark required for the English requirement, my question is this enough for english language requirements or does she needs to redo IELTS for life skills? Thanks for the help.

Was IELTS exam taken at an approved center? If not, the test will need to be taken again.

She actually did it from some institute but her test centre was in British Council, KTM, Nepal which is in the list of approved test centre. However, as it doesnt have SELT unique reference number rather it has Test report from number. Hence I am little bit confused about it.

So to conclude, IELTS (Academic, given 5months ago) from approved test centre is acceptable for English language requirements right?

P.s. Sorry for multiple post as I was panicking thinking she might have to do the IELTS for life skills (as booking is fully booked for 3/5 months in Nepal )

Anyone please, I just want to confirm that IELTS (Academic) done in approved centre is still acceptable for the spouse visa or not, so that I can start visa application process else I will my wife to book new test. Anyone plz?? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Should be okay (taken after 06-Apr-15 and at a center which is currently in the approved center list), but no one will be able to tell you for sure.

Yeah, the mixture of answer in the different forums have made me more confused as well. I got email back from UKVI that previous test listed before April 6 are not accepted even though its from approved centre. So I guess, I might have to ask my wife to do the IELTS for life skills
