Possibility of shifting from Tier 1 general to Tier 2 gen

Post by f317633 » Tue Jan 05, 2016 9:26 am

Hi
I have a query regarding switching (in country) from my current Tier 1 general visa to Tier 2 general visa as my company might willing to sponsor me. My company is an A rated sponsor. My queries are:
1) will the annual limit of Tier 2 general visa apply in my case since I am switching in country from Tier 1 general visa?
2) what are the maintainable requirements for me and my dependent (all in country)
3) will my UK born 3 year old daughter also need to apply as my dependent?
4) ca I apply for ILR from Tier 2 General if my combined stay is 5 years (combining my Tier 1 general and Tier 2 General)?

Thanks

1) No

2) If you are talking about Maintenance fund, since your sponsor is a A rated company, they can tick the option to support maintenance fund in your COS

3) Will need to apply as a dependent if you planning to travel outside UK with her

4) Yes
