applying British passport for children

Post by loyaltohermajesty06 » Wed Jan 06, 2016 12:25 am

Hello Everyone,
My wife and I have just been granted ILR in DECEMBER 2015. Both of my kids are born in the UK and are now aged 10 and 6 years old. Can they apply for british Passport straight away or need to do naturalisation. Please someone advise me what should I do and the procedures. The letter received from HO states I can now apply british citizen ship for child born in the UK but there's not much info on their website. I appreciate veryone piece of advise.

kind regards

They cannot apply for British passports directly, as they are not yet British. However, they are entitled to register for British citizenships.
