ILR eligibility for Tier 2 General Rerstricted CoS

Post by sunildevan » Wed Jan 06, 2016 12:59 pm

Hi All,

I have a query, my wife has a Tier 2 General Restricted CoS Visa from Jan 2016 for 5 years, Could you please advice if she is eligible for applying ILR after 5 years and she has the earnings of 40k and above.

Also the Tier 2 General dependent visa holders who enter from 6-April-2016, can't work in UK...is this true? what about existing dependents work in UK who arrived before April 2016?

Your help on this is much appreciated.

Thanks
Sunil

1. RCoS or UCoS have no bearing on eligibility of a Tier 2 General migrant to settle in the UK. No one can tell you today what the rules will be 2021.
2. No.
