1. can he submit the application in june that 2 months before expiry to be on safe side?

2. which test does he need to pass is it the A1? can he sit the test now in january and later use his certificate at the time of application?

3. does he need to give all 2.5 years paper work like payslips and bank statements or just last 6 months.

2. which test does he need to pass is it the A1? can he sit the test now in january and later use his certificate at the time of application? Yes. A1 level from an approved test & test provider

3. does he need to give all 2.5 years paper work like payslips and bank statements or just last 6 months. 6 months payslips & bank statements, but also 6 pieces of evidence in joint names showing co-habitation from at least 3 different sources, spread as evenly as possible over the 2.5 year period. If you have nothing in joint names, then submit 12 in single names.

thankyou verymuch!

He will also have to pay the NHS surcharge of £500 online before submitting the FLR(M) application. This is in addition to the visa fee.
