ILR for baby with Indian passport

Dear friends,

Could you please help me with this query.

I have a british passport and my wife has ILR.

My wife after becoming pregnant decided to have baby in india.We had a baby in october and got an indian passport for him.didnt want to apply british passport for him from india.

Can i apply ILR for him from india? If yes could you please advice which forms , docs required etc and roughly how long can this process take.
If NO- could you please advice route of immigration

If child is British, then child should either apply for a British passport or CoE-RoA.

we got indian passport for the child so what visa category should be uk visa for?
