Hi,
I applied for my tier 2 general visa along with my dependents using premium service on 30th Nov. Our application was approved on the same day and my wife and son received their BRP within 2 weeks. But I have not received my BRP yet. I reported that after 10 days of application and they responded saying "Unfortunately we are not able to produce your BRP as a National Insurance Number (NINo) is a required field on your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). Although you have provided a NINo, we are awaiting this to be verified by the DWP. We have referred this to the relevant team to seek such verification. This should be resolved in the next few days at which time your BRP will be ordered."
Not sure why are verifying my NI number with DWP and why it's taking too long.
As it's been more than 1 month now and I am without BRP, I feel kind of stuck.
Is there anything I could do?

Do you have a copy of application & NINO submitted?
is it correct?
If so then probably stuck in a backlog due to Christmas & New Year.

Yes, I have copies. My NINO is correct and I have provided it to them again in an email.

I applied my son's visa which was granted in couple of weeks. I have received all other documents but still waiting for brp. A month has passed. I emailed to brp team 12 days ago but same standard reply that case worker should contact you.
Let's see how long it takes.
We pay them hell of money but their service is rubbish. Arghhh
