Regarding Tier 2 General dependant online application

Hello friends,

I am holding Tier 2 General visa which is sponsored my employer(A Rated) for 5 years. As Visa processing had carried out by employer and the third party. Therefore, I don't have CoS number which is required now to apply dependant visa for my wife.

1. Is it mandatory to supply CoS number to Home Office ?
2. Do I still need to supply my bank statements with funds to prove maintenance ?

Please advise.

1. Yes, You need to mention the CoS number in the application form. HO uses the CoS number to find sponsorship details.
2. If your employer had ticked the maintenance fund option and both (you and spouse) applying together, then no need to submit bank statement with the required fund available.
but spouse applying separately, then need to supply bank statement or a letter from your employer (if already ticked maintenance fund in CoS).
