FLR(M) English Not sure if Cert still valid - please help

Hi all,
I applied for flr m on 15 December 2015 from Uk.My ielts certificate was valid upto 20th December 2015 that means on the date of application it was valid.I got ielts points average 6:00(Academic) from British council,sylhet,bangladesh on 21 December 2013.Also I got 7 points on speaking module and 6 points on listening module.This exam centre is still approved for ielts exam by home office.also i came uk on 15 March 2014 via tier 4 students visa by using this ielts certificate(entry clearance visa).Home made new rules from 5 November 2015 that they no longer accept ielts certificate which taken before 6 April 2015.So my question is will home office accept my ielts certificate as valid for flr m application?

If it's the same qualification as the one you used on the first visa application, then it might still be valid. I read somewhere that even if the qualification expires, it is still valid if it was used atleast once in previous successful application

Yeah I used this ielts certificate for student visa and successfully got student visa.
