Urgent - Mistake in tier 2 general extension guidance

Can you please go throuh this below gov.uk link to see why home office is mentioned that Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) permission is allowed to extend their stay into tier 2 general ? is my understanding wrong ?

Appreciate your urgent reply.

I suppose tier 1 entrepreneur can only switch into tier 2 general visa - can not extend correct?

its updated 22/01/2016..

to me it looks like now Tier 1 (ent) can switch into Tier (G) as well? may be i am wrong

No, seems to be a typo. You can only switch to Tier 2 from Tier 1. Extending a tier 1 visa to a tier 2 makes no sense :shock:
