query VAF2 section 5.1

Post by lunaticzombie » Fri Dec 07, 2007 6:20 am

5.1 Have you ever travelled outside your country of residence, including to the UK, in the last 10 years?
If ‘Yes’ please provide details of any trips to the UK below

second statement is contradictory.

I have been to US on a business trip, should I specify it?
I think I should, people plz confirm.

Hi zombie,

As stated in the question, I have only written down my trips to the UK only in the last 10 years. So I would not put down that US trip if I were you.

You have definitely travelled outside your country...tick yes...however, you have no trips to the UK so leave the box blank.

Hello...

You should tick "Yes" for Q5.1, as you have travelled outside your country of residence, including UK. However, you should only provide details of your trips to UK. If you don't have trips to the UK in the last 10 years, then you don't need to provide any details.

For myself, in the last 10 years, I have trips around Asia, Africa, and Europe, and only 2 trips to the UK. So, I have ticked "Yes" for this question. And only provided details of those 2 UK trips.

And EC has been approved.

Hope this helps!
