Hello there,
Previously I asked about some details regarding my Fiancée visa, and now, as I am trying to apply for a FLR(M) one, some questions have arisen, and I would appreciate any help that anyone with more experience could provide:
Me and my now Husband got married yesterday, and now we are trying to do things on time, so I can switch to a Spouse visa, or First Leave to Remain (Marriage), before the Fiancée one expires(it does expire mid-May).
As there are two ways to apply, one is by post and the other is using the Premium Service, and I have questions about both:
-If I send all my documents by post, how can I know that the response and return of my documents will be in 8 weeks (that are the estimated time provided in the Government page) and not 6 months or so, that some other people have expressed they have had to wait?
-And regarding the use of Premium Service (which only speeds up the process), I got unlucky and the Gov. page didn't allow me to continue my booking for an appointment, just kept telling me that the page could not be desplayed, to try again later, so I did, but the application still doesn't appear there, and I had already made my IHS fee payment (I have the reference number) but could not continue with this booking. So I got frustrated and started another booking and it wants to charge me again! So, I don't know what to do, I have written to the email they provide for technical troubles, but they haven't replayed yet.
And now I am considering to just use that payment for my submission of application by post, but I am not sure if they will accept it, or if they will make me pay again, then ask for a refund, even if it wasn't my fault that the page didn't allow me to continue with my booking, or I don't know how this can be fixed.
Thank you in advance, for your time.
