Tier 2 £35,000 threshold clarification

Post by sunshine22 » Fri Feb 12, 2016 1:02 pm

Hello,

I was granted a Tier 2 work visa for 3 years a few months ago. I make the required amount for my job as per SOC code but it is not £35,000. I know my visa is not enough time to qualify for ILR so I presumed the new £35,000 does impact me. However, I read some information that says all Tier 2 visa holders who do not earn £35,000 must leave after April 2016. Is this correct? Or is the £35,000 threshold for ILR applicants only?

Thank you for your help and clarification.
