Post by shamrock123 » Tue Dec 11, 2007 10:30 am

my partner lives in italy he is a permantant resident there he has fixed work in a textile factory. we plan to marry end of next year got dates booked and everything.
my partner has a ghanaian passport and i am a british citzen we both decided that we would like to live in uk i am already living in uk.
he has been there for fours years but had less than 3yrs work but has a document to show all what he has been doing there we have all the documents birth cert, bank statements, wage slips, marriage certificate etc. i be renting a flat in uk as we want to buy a property when we are both living together. my question is the finances that i have are they enough for what the eco look for in italy i will have the following; £4800 in savings, £2268 for rent and deposit for flat from my self employed job. i will also have my regular income from my full time job were i have been for 3yrs of £1200 after tax and NI and £163 per month from self employed is that enough or am i missing bits out my partner will also have a bit of money from his side mayb £800 also what i am worried about is the interview what is that they ask you about and what makes a successful spouse visa application.
