WP Dependent stay beyond primary WP holder

Hi,
I have a work permit valid for 1 year. I will be travelling to my home country for 3 months. Can my dependent stay back in UK for about 2 months after I have left UK?

Any link to prove the response would be useful.

Of course it does!

If you were leaving for good then your wife would have to go with you. If you are just going on a three month holiday then coming back to continue employment, then that is fine.

However, I am not be going on a holiday and will not be on leave. Instead, I will continue to work for my company in home country on an assignment.
