IHS query

Post by sy2012 » Sun Feb 21, 2016 10:40 pm

Dear forum members,

I am in a confusing situation with regards to IHS. Following might help understand:

My wife's partner visa application appointment is on 07-Mar-2016 in Delhi (in the future). I did an application and paid visa fee and IHS fee. I had to cancel this application due to a field that needed changing. So I cancelled this application and requested refund through the visa4uk website. I also started a new application and then paid both visa fee and IHS. I've now seen that the "supreme brains" in IHS refunds team have refunded the IHS fees for both the old application and the new application. My wife or I did not get any confirmation however the amount has been credited to my bank account. I've dropped UKVI a note however not sure if they will understand and work (given their general disability to help people with any queries).

The visa4uk website shows the new application status still as 'complete' so I'm assuming my wife can still attend the appointment. Is there anyone else I need to let know as I don't want this to cause an issue.

Thanks

Best Regards,
sy2012

Any suggestions? I did write to UKVI but their response was (I assume they did not even look at my query in detail) to submit new application and pay visa fees and IHS fees (seems like a standard response for any queries)
