Post by prat_123 » Wed Feb 24, 2016 12:27 pm

Dear Friends,

I am applying for Change of employment under Tier 2 visa, i.e. i have to make a new Tier 2 application with new CoS no from my new employer.
It will be highly appreciated if someone can highlight the steps to be followed for Tier 2 Change of employment cases.
Thanks

Regards,

get new cos from new employer
apply for new leave
receive new visa,
resign at original job
start job at new employer.

following this way, you may have problem serving your notice at current employer as when you do get new leave, you are not allowed to work for old employer, however, if you resign before receiving your new visa, and your new visa is rejected for some reason, you can be in big trouble. the reason there is no easy answer to it, is that its immigration and employment laws being overlapped.
